This is Ouchijuku in Minamiaizu, Fukushima Prefecture
Ouchijuku flourished as a post town during the Edo period✨
Even today, thatched-roof houses line the roads, retaining the appearance of the Edo period, and people live here as stores and residences to preserve this scenery🏡
It has also been designated as a "Nationally Designated Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings," and there is even a resident charter to preserve this scenery for the future.
They are all working to preserve the landscape and learn and pass on the traditional "roofing" techniques by following the three principles of "don't sell, don't rent, don't destroy" 💡
Ouchijuku is famous for "Negi Soba" which is made with green onions. You can eat it at various restaurants, so try looking for your favorite 💭
🏷️ Save it and use it as a reference for your next outing!

I got the cute and colorful miniature Akabeko from a gachapon machine 🌈
There are gachapon machines in front of various shops, and one of them is in there!
It was 400 yen per time 🐮❤️
