Three Houses

When visiting Shirakawa-go for a day trip, travelers often have to choose between the observation deck or the Three Houses. However, if you prioritize sightseeing and save snacking for later, you can manage to see both!

Even at the end of March, Shirakawa-go is still covered in snow, making it enjoyable to explore the alleys and streets of the village.

To reach the photo spot for the Three Houses, follow Google Maps and walk straight past the parking lot entrance. Keep walking straight until you reach the opposite side of the Three Houses, where you can take photos.
