Jingshan Park

#beijing

Jingshan Park is a unique place where you can see Beijing from a bird's eye view. The park itself is located directly across from the northern exit of the Forbidden City, making it an important part of imperial history. In the center rises an artificial hill, created from earth excavated during the construction of the palace moat. Climbing to the top of the hill is a must: it offers a stunning view of the entire Forbidden City and its golden rooftops. It's especially beautiful at sunset, when the sun bathes the ancient buildings in warm hues. The park itself is also worth a visit—the well-maintained paths, pavilions, and ancient trees create a cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed watching the locals: many come here to sing, dance, and play sports. Jingshan Park is more than just an observation deck; it's a vibrant cultural space. If you want to experience the atmosphere of old Beijing and see the best views of the city, this is a must-see. #beijing
