Nihondaira Zoo

Nihondaira Zoo is home to 700 animals including red pandas and polar bears. The zoo has popular exhibition facilities, such as the “fierce animal building” and the “flying mega dome,” that allow visitors to watch animal life up close.
Views of Suruga Bay and the Southern Alps from the zoo’s observation area are breathtaking.

This is a small zoo but has an up close experience with many world iconic animals. Try out the roller slide especially if you have kids.
