◼︎Kakegawa Castle
This castle was built in 1513 by Imagawa Ujichika, the feudal lord of Suruga Province, as a foothold for his advance into Totomi Province.
It was damaged in the Ansei earthquake and abandoned in the Meiji period.
It was restored in 1994 as Japan's first fully-fledged wooden castle tower.

◼︎Yamanaka Castle Ruins Park
Yamanaka Castle was built by the Hojo clan, who established their main castle in Odawara, at the end of the Sengoku period.
The remains from 400 years ago have been restored as they were, and mountain castles made only of earth are very rare nationwide.

◼︎Sunpu Castle Park
The site of the castle built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in Shizuoka City.
Construction of the castle as a residence began in 1585, and the area within the current Ninomaru was completed in 1589.
Excavations are currently being conducted at the Sunpu Castle ruins and the Sunpu Castle ruins castle tower base.
