Embark on the Angel Road of Shodoshima

Shodoshima Angel Road/Shodoshima One-Day Itinerary
You only have two chances a day to walk on the Angel Road.
Nearby shops sell ema (wooden plaques), and you can tie them to trees on the connected Oe Island after walking along the Angel Road.
Additionally, before heading to the Angel Road, you will pass by souvenir shops where you can send postcards of the Angel Road. (I sent one too, but unfortunately, it was the only postcard I lost from Japan 🤣🤣)
The Shodoshima website has a tidal chart for the whole year that you can check. If you are planning a one-day trip, I highly recommend the following itinerary:
After arriving at Tonosho Port, head to Angel Road 👉 Olive Park 👉 Kankakei Ropeway (you can also replace the Kankakei Ropeway with another attraction).
However, make sure to arrive in the morning to catch the low tide 😆
It takes about half an hour to take photos on the Angel Road. Enjoying the sound of the waves quietly lapping on the shore is also wonderful.
