The real Luang Pho Chet Kasat is a sacred Buddha image that Luang Pu So Phanthulo obtained from his meditation. It is believed to have the power to bring rain in season.

Although this is a replica, it has the same power as the real one. It was created from the inspiration and strong faith of the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand's employees and the general public who were concerned about the continuous drought. Therefore, we asked for permission from Luang Pu So Phanthulo to create it on the occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's birthday on April 2, 2001.
