Had breakfast at McDonald’s West Coast Park after a morning stroll, and it was the kind of comforting, no-fuss meal I was looking for. The location right next to the park makes it super convenient — you can just roll in straight from the jogging path or playground.

I went for the Breakfast Deluxe — scrambled eggs, sausage, muffin, hotcakes, and the golden hash brown. Everything came out warm and familiar. It’s not gourmet, but it’s exactly what you expect and sometimes, that’s perfect. The hotcakes were fluffy, eggs soft, and the sausage added that savoury punch.

The space is open and relaxed, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a really family-friendly spot, especially with the kids’ play area outside. I found a quiet corner outdoors where I could sip my coffee while watching the morning park crowd pass by — quite a nice way to ease into the day.

Service was smooth and efficient during my visit. It can apparently get hectic on weekends, but on this weekday morning, it was peaceful.

Honestly, if you’re in the area or just finished a walk by the water, this is a solid breakfast stop. Reliable, casual, and set in a surprisingly chill environment for a McDonald’s.
