After checking in and settling in, we started the day by visiting Sri Mariamman Temple (Hindu Temple), a sacred place with many visitors throughout the day. The atmosphere here is peaceful and relaxing.
Then we walked to Chinatown, a shopping and local food hub with souvenirs, dessert shops, and a variety of street food to try. For dinner, we indulged at the famous Jumbo Seafood Riverside, enjoying black pepper crab and fresh seafood with rich flavors.
Day 2 — Enjoy modernity and fantastic shopping🦁
The second day began with a light breakfast at the hotel. We traveled to Marina Bay Sands, known for its iconic ship-like architecture atop the building, featuring a mall, hotel, and stunning viewpoints.
Next, we shopped at Harbourfront, a large mall near the Sentosa Express train station. We took a coffee break at TCC – The Connoisseur Concerto, a European-style café with a great atmosphere.
In the evening, we strolled around Clarke Quay, famous for its bars and riverside restaurants. We chose to eat local food at Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, enjoying the rich Chinese herbal soup with a well-balanced taste before ending the day with a walk at Merlion Park, taking photos with Singapore’s landmark.
Day 3 — Enjoy sweets and Universal Studios🦁
On the last morning, we started with Kaya Toast, toasted bread spread with coconut jam and sweet egg custard, a must-try dessert when visiting Singapore. Then we shopped along Orchard Road, especially at ION Orchard, which offers a wide range of products from famous brands to many dining options.
In the afternoon, we took the train to Sentosa Island to wrap up the trip at Universal Studios Singapore, filled with various rides and entertaining shows.
Transportation🦁
We mainly used the MRT and buses, which are convenient, fast, and cover almost all interesting spots. The transportation cost is about 1,500–2,000 THB for two people.
Impressions🦁
This trip allowed us to experience the diversity of culture, food, and the modernity of Singapore. Most importantly, it was a relaxed trip where we traveled exactly how we wanted. It was a very worthwhile and impressive trip.
If you have a budget of around 15,000 THB, you can comfortably plan a trip to Singapore with good food, good accommodation, and a complete itinerary in 3 days 2 nights.
