If you want to experience Singapore's "future city," you must visit Punggol Digital District (PDD). Although construction isn't 100% complete, you can tell from the moment you step inside that this is a true Smart City. 🌏💡 Some buildings are already open, including the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) campus and some offices, bringing life to the area. While not all the shops and cafes are open, it's still a pleasant stroll, offering a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere.
What stands out is the design of the green spaces and the pedestrian-friendly structure. There are walkways connecting the buildings, bike paths, and outdoor seating areas, making this area less of a rigid business district, but a place that combines learning, working, and living all in one place. 👩💻☕🌿
While it's not yet complete, it's perfect for those who want to see the "evolution" of the city as it unfolds right before their eyes. The photos give it a futuristic, minimalist feel. 📸
📍 Getting there: Take the MRT to Punggol Coast Station and you're there. Or take the LRT to Teck Lee.
💡 Tip: Visit on a weekday when it's quiet and perfect for taking photos. But if you want to see the excitement, wait another 1-2 years until it's fully open. It'll be even more interesting. 🚀✨
