Haji Lane on Arab Street in Singapore is famous for its hip atmosphere. There is a photo zone with murals and various cafes and prop shops. Jam Jam, a famous restaurant near Haji Lane, specializes in Murtabak, a dish that is cheap and delicious, so many locals visit. I ordered one chicken Murtabak and one beef, and they came with a curry for dipping.

The nearby Purvis Street is famous for its delicious restaurants.

I recommend a French restaurant called Sabua.

You have to eat a course meal, but the starter menu Sabua pasta and the main dish duck confit are really 👍 The price is cheap compared to the food, and it is because they focus on the food instead of investing in tableware or interior design. Although Singapore is expensive, there are many cheap and delicious foods :)
