morning (^▽^)ノ
• train from catania centrale to siracusa (about 1 h 10–20 min). from the station you can walk or take a quick bus.
• start at the archaeological park: greek theatre, roman amphitheatre, ear of dionysius. stone, trees, and a lot of history in one area 🏛️
midday (。•‿•)っ
• head to ortigia island (walk straight down, follow the signs).
• explore piazza duomo and the cathedral, then wander tiny streets and courtyards.
• street market area for snacks, cheese, fruit, maybe a quick lunch near the stalls.
afternoon
• walk around the seafront of ortigia, toward castello maniace side or along foro vittorio emanuele. blue water, boats, and old walls.
• gelato or coffee stop in a side street, then more slow wandering with no plan.
sunset & evening (╹◡╹)
• stay for sunset on the shore: sit on the rocks or the promenade and watch the sky change over the sea. very calm moment before heading back 🌅
• after sunset, dinner in ortigia and then walk back to the station for the train to catania.
if you want, i can also suggest specific places to eat in siracusa / ortigia (^▽^)ノ
