On a rainy day
We bought tickets at the Ticket Office, 140Y per person, entrance fee + cable car (one way). When we reached the top, we bought a 20Y electric car ticket (paid by Alipay, Wechat, cash, except credit cards). We walked all the way up to the Huanglong Stream, then walked along the path down. The path is beautiful (be careful of AMS, altitude sickness).
If you come to visit Huanglong, I recommend staying in Songpan. You can travel back and forth from Songpan. Or leave early in the morning to visit Huanglong and then sleep in Jiuzhaigou.
In Jiuzhaigou, we stayed at Holiday Inn Express (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area), 500m from the entrance to Jiuzhaigou Valley. Near restaurants, food, and breakfast. Book through Trip.com.
Rent a car Songpan- Huanglong- Jiuzhaigou 1,000Y 7-seater car (depending on the size of the car). Good car, met a good-natured driver.
