Right in the heart of Southampton lies The Bargate, a stunning medieval gatehouse that instantly transports you back in time 🕰️. I passed by during a calm afternoon walk, and the contrast between the old stone walls and the modern city around it was absolutely striking 🏙️📸. Built in the 12th century, it once served as the main entrance to the walled city and still stands proudly today as one of the most iconic landmarks in town.
