Day 7 (Part 2) Binggou Danxia -> Kangle Grassland

2
After leaving the scenic area and bidding farewell to this magnificent colorful Danxia, we decided to go to Kangle Grassland to take a look.

The car circled and climbed up the mountain road. There are many cliffs on both sides of the road, still dominated by red sandstone, which is a very obvious Danxia landform. If the colorful Danxia is like a colorful rainbow, then the Danxia on this section of the road is like a modernist building, with pavilions and window frames deeply carved as if by a knife or an axe, full of creativity and imagination, as if it were a stroke of genius.

Sure enough, the driver said that this is Binggou Danxia, which is also part of the Danxia landform of Qilian Mountains. I feel that the rock quality of Binggou Danxia seems to be a little harder, but I don't know what it is actually like.

After the car circled in the mountain for a while, the mountain gradually became covered with soil and low trees. After going around another mountain, the view suddenly opened up and a large expanse of empty green grassland replaced the majestic and undulating mountains.

The view on the grassland is very broad. In the near distance, there is green grass, with occasional cattle and sheep grazing leisurely; in the far distance, dense mountain forests and grasslands spread out, just like dark green and light green brocade spread on the earth. At the end of the field of vision is the tall and steep Qilian Mountains. Although it is a hot summer, the top of the mountain is still covered with snow.

I have seen grasslands in many places and thought that this place was nothing new, but when I came here, I found that it was different. The grasslands in Inner Mongolia are mostly hilly, while the grasslands here are gentle plateaus surrounded by the Qilian Mountains; the grasslands in Inner Mongolia are mostly pastoral areas with a large number of cattle and sheep, and the grasslands are in a state after being grazed by cattle and sheep, while here there are very few cattle, sheep, yaks and other animals on the grasslands. The grasslands are neat and lush, with many flowers blooming on the grasslands; in the Inner Mongolia grasslands, there are very few tall forests, but here, the forests and grasslands complement each other.

I was intoxicated in this vast grassland and didn't realize that noon had already passed.
