Among all the small Korean cities I've visited, Suwon really stands out as unique!

The Hwaseong Fortress (Hwaseong Haenggung) casts a timeless, traditional charm over the whole city 🏯. Walking through, you feel a vibe of:
"I’m deeply rooted in history but totally chill and unpretentious." 😌

The surreal sight of hot air balloons floating above the ancient palace walls feels almost magical and dreamlike 🎈✨.

Near Hwaseong, cozy alleys hide lots of underground vintage shops 🛍️, creating an amazing contrast yet perfect harmony between old and new — it’s such a joyful experience!
