A visit to Suwon Hwaseong, perfect even in summer!

Suwon Hwaseong is a must-see when traveling to Suwon! On my recent trip, I explored Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, Hwahongmun Gate, and Honghwamun Gate, all of which exude traditional beauty. Combined with the lush summer scenery, they were truly stunning🍃

📍 Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion
The pond and pavilion blend together like a painting, making it an ideal spot for photography or simply relaxing😌. While it's lovely during the day, the atmosphere at sunset is absolutely magical🌇.

📍 Honghwamun Gate & Janganmun Gate
The intricate carvings on the gates are breathtaking, and their grand scale allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of traditional Korean architecture in the city. Renting a hanbok to explore the area would be a perfect match🧡.

📍 Suwoncheon Stream Walkway
Walking along the fortress walls leads to a peaceful trail, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, making it an excellent date spot!

• Suwon Hwaseong is charming both during the day and at night!
• Stop by Suwon Paldalmun Market for some snacks to complete your itinerary.
• Don't forget to bring a parasol or hat during summer ☀️.
