Inside the Luohanyuan Temple, located in Dinghui Temple Lane, Gusu District, four tall and straight ancient white magnolia trees are in full bloom, becoming a highly sought-after new internet sensation. Planted in the 1980s, these white magnolias reach their peak beauty in late February and early March, earning praise from netizens as "Suzhou's magnolia ceiling" and "top magnolia blossoms." Uniquely, these magnolias grow within the ruins of the Twin Pagodas and the main hall of Luohanyuan Temple. The tall trees with straight branches rise from the Song Dynasty-style courtyard, extending beyond the white walls and dark-colored roofs, and spreading their influence to the surrounding area. With a gentle spring breeze, they produce lampshade-like white flowers that appear even brighter and more elegant in the golden sunlight. Cluster after cluster, they resemble a natural canopy.
