Make a pilgrimage to the Suzhou Museum, the last masterpiece by Taiwanese architectural master I.M. Pei

Admission is free! However, you must reserve tickets in advance through the official mini-app; during peak season, they're almost always sold out as soon as they open. Luckily, I managed to snag a ticket, but I entered in the afternoon, and the museum was packed, making the air conditioning completely unavailable!

I came for the museum itself, I.M. Pei's crowning achievement. I briefly glanced at the collection of Buddhist artifacts, the bronzes, pottery, jade, porcelain, ancient calligraphy and paintings, and other artworks, but didn't stop to take many photos. The Suzhou heat completely overwhelmed me, so I quickly headed back to my hotel to lie back and enjoy the cool air.
