It feels like there are always so many people in Suzhou whenever you visit, making it hard to take a beautiful photo without crowds everywhere...
But! Even with so many people at Suzhou Museum, you can still capture stunning photos without anyone in them! Here’s a quick photo📷 guide for you!
——Photo📷 Guide——
1️⃣ Book your Suzhou Museum ticket in advance. I booked 7 days ahead for the 9:00–10:00 time slot. The museum is already quite busy when it opens, but it’s manageable. Arrive about 10 minutes early to line up.
2️⃣ The first spot inside is shown in photo 2. If you want to take photos, do it first! Once you go in, you can’t go back out, or you’ll miss this spot (but don’t spend too long here).
3️⃣ Inside, on both sides are bamboo groves like in photo 3. I recommend going to the left👈 because that’s the real bamboo grove. The right side is just a wall with a few bamboo stalks. At this time, no one has entered the bamboo grove yet, so it’s a great photo opportunity (people will come in soon and it will affect your shots).
4️⃣ After shooting, head straight outside to check in at spots shown in photos 4–9. These popular spots are empty now! No lines! Easy to get great shots!
5️⃣ Return inside to check in at the black staircase, which is very artistic.
6️⃣ After hitting almost all the photo spots, you can now enjoy the museum’s collections and exhibitions! Enjoy both viewing and photography!
