You cannot miss the most iconic thing about Australia. It's very likely that no matter where you come from or who you are, the image of the opera house in Sydney is what comes to mind when speaking of Australia. The opera house architecture is as impressive as it gets. Whether you look at it from the harbour bridge or up close. It remains a spectacular sight.

It hosts musicals, concerts, plays and much more regularly. It has several halls and something different playing on it. The tickets are pricey but if you wish to experience it. I would recommend booking well in advance as the cheaper tickets are first to sell out. There is also a guided tour of the opera house. Had it been any less pricier I would have tried. But this is sight that can be enjoyed without paying anything. The vibe around the place, especially in the evenings it is worth expericing.
