Take advantage of the tail end of the maple leaf season to rush into this newly opened Sorano Hotel, and I was indeed amazed by the rooftop infinity pool "floating above the autumn scenery"! Its excellent location adjacent to the National Showa Memorial Park allows the pool to transform into a golden mirror when the ginkgo leaves turn yellow. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring a swimsuit this time; just standing by the pool watching the fallen leaves drift into the water was romantic enough to make me want to come back again~
🍁 Rooftop infinity pool × autumn scenery frame, a limited experience you have to wait a year to miss
The pool is located on the 11th floor rooftop, with glass railings framing the entire autumn scenery of Showa Memorial Park as the background—the ginkgo avenue forms a golden carpet, maple trees burn like red clouds in the distance, and the afternoon sunlight filters through the leaves onto the pool surface. The interplay of light and shadow makes you feel like you’ve fallen into a Monet painting. Although the separate admission fee is 2,000 yen, the room rate includes pool access. Remember to bring your bikini and let the golden fallen leaves and pool water become your photo filter!
🏨 Wake up to the luxury of embracing the park
- Guest rooms start at 45 square meters and are equipped with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to see morning joggers and flying birds in the park as soon as you open your eyes
- The must-try Japanese-style breakfast features freshly grilled salted fish, served with miso soup and brown rice, fully recharging your energy with carbs
- The bar next to the pool offers free freshly ground coffee; sit on the outdoor lounge chair with your coffee, watch the autumn leaves drift into the pool with the wind, and enjoy the comfort so much you won’t want to leave
