The Taichung Railway Station Cultural Park is a cultural space that blends a century of history with modern creativity, offering a unique experience amidst a nostalgic railway atmosphere.

🏛️ A Century-Old Station's Stunning Transformation
The centerpiece of the park is the second-generation Taichung Station, built in 1917. This red-brick, blue-roofed Baroque-style building has been designated a national monument. With the opening of the new station in 2016, the old station area was transformed into a cultural park, perfectly preserving its historical charm.

🚂 Classic Trains and Unique Shops
The park showcases several historic retired trains, including the EMU100 Ziqiang, known as the "British Lady," the stainless-steel DR2700 Guanghua, and the R100 diesel-electric locomotive. These trains are not only photogenic, but their carriages have also been revitalized, such as:

· Mamonaku Cafe: A British-style cafe renovated from the carriages of the EMU107 Ziqiang.
· Microscape: A handcrafted space within the DR2700 train combines botanical aesthetics with cultural and creative merchandise.

· Tielu Street: Located on the first floor of the new station, the food court features a variety of restaurants and gift shops.

· Travel Market: A weekend cultural and creative market held near the old platform, featuring stalls selling handmade goods, accessories, and other creative items.

· Cultural Events: Markets, concerts, and other events are frequently held on the old platform and on a small stage, bringing the historic space to life.
