Tainan Yudian, recommended by the Michelin Guide, is a Hong Kong-style dim sum shop. Different from other restaurants in Taiwan that are open 24 hours a day, this restaurant adheres very closely to Hong Kong traditions. Morning tea starts at 7 a.m. and is only open until 2 p.m. It is only open for dine-in two days a week, so naturally, seats are hard to come by, so we chose to take-out that day.

What’s admirable is that even after taking the food home and unboxing it for tasting, which is about an hour away, the meal is still delicious, especially the classic radish cake, with its crispy fried crust and plump shredded radish inside, which leaves a lingering fragrance in your mouth and is very delicious.

If you have the chance to book a seat inside in the future, be sure to go there, the dining experience will definitely be taken to the next level.
