Day 1: Immerse yourself in the art of Chimei Museum
In the morning, we took the high-speed rail from Taipei to the Chimei Museum in Tainan. This museum, which incorporates European classical architectural style, is magnificent and surrounded by beautiful lake scenery. As I entered the museum, I was immersed in the rich and diverse art exhibitions. From Western oil paintings to classical musical instruments, each piece of collection told a story of time. What impressed me most was the Weapons Hall, which displays ancient weapons from all over the world and shows the diverse aspects of human civilization. In the afternoon, I strolled through the museum’s outdoor gardens, admiring the beauty of the sculptures and natural scenery.
Day 2: Slow life in Taipei
After returning to Taipei, I chose to spend a day exploring the Tianmu area. Tianmu Park in the early morning is filled with bird songs and fresh air. I read a book under the shade of the trees and feel the peaceful atmosphere. Then head to the local specialty market to taste handmade bread and seasonal fruits. In the afternoon, I visited a nearby art workshop to experience pottery creation myself and feel the joy of creating art with my own hands. The two-day journey, from the cultural shock of the Chimei Museum to the simple comfort of Tianmu, allowed me to rediscover the beautiful details of life.
