Shipai Food 😋 Super delicious and affordable Thai restaurant in Samui

Today I came to the Sumei Thai Restaurant in Shipai Night Market, which has been open for at least 15 years, to taste delicious food. Compared to Wacheng, the Thai Restaurant does not charge a 10% service charge, which is really a great deal. You can order more dishes.

Today I ordered water spinach with shrimp paste NT100 and cabbage with shrimp paste NT100 (a complete win 🏆). The taste is good enough to go with rice. I was so hungry after eating it that I couldn't stop eating it. Compared with the two vegetables, cabbage is more delicious and goes well with rice 👍

Steamed lemon fish NT330, the meat is tender and delicate, with a refreshing taste. Squeeze lemon sauce, it's so happy to pair it with white rice🥰And the fish portion is very large, at least 3 people should eat it, two people are too full😆🤣

Moon Shrimp Cake NT280, many people say that Moon Shrimp Cake is not an authentic Thai dish, but a modified Taiwanese version. I agree with this because I really can't find any trace of it in the night market in Bangkok 🤣 The crispy fried cake skin contains shrimp paste, which is not too greasy, and it is very refreshing to eat with perilla plum sauce. I can't stop eating it once I eat it❗️

The last dish, the hot and sour seafood soup, is NT220 (a must-order signature soup 🏆). It has a very high CP value. It is indeed a little bit more sour and spicy than the previous dishes, but when you scoop out the soup, you will find a lot of clams, squid, tomatoes, mushrooms, fish fillets, onions, celery, and two shrimps. It is so colorful and there is bay leaf seasoning in it. No wonder the soup is so charming. I eat one bowl after another 😋 Even the onions and celery are all eaten up❗️❗️❗️

In addition, we ordered Thai milk tea for NT50, which is exactly what I like. It is not as sweet as the 13-point sweet milk tea at the night market with a bunch of ice cubes. It is delicious and worth a cup 🫗🥤
