Taipei holiday hotspot, Taipei Zoo

Location: No. 30, Section 2, Xinguang Road, Wenshan District, Taipei City

Introduction: Taipei Zoo is a public zoo in Taipei City, affiliated to the Education Bureau of Taipei City Government. Founded in 1914 in Yuanshan District, it was formerly known as "Yuanshan Zoo" and is adjacent to the Taipei Municipal Children's Recreation Center (the former site of the Taipei Municipal Children's New Amusement Park, now the Yuanshan site). In 1986, the original site in Yuanshan could not be expanded, so it was moved to Muzha District (now Wenshan District), and thus became the "Muzha Zoo" familiar to Taiwanese people today.

Opening hours: 9:00-17:00

Tickets: 60, discount tickets 30

Experience: Taipei Zoo is the largest zoo in Taiwan, with many animals and a long history. During holidays, it always attracts many friends, both young and old, who come here to have fun with the animals. It is one of the must-see attractions in Taipei.
