Travel Notes: Taipei to Ruifang and the Simple Journey in Shifen

#Taipei Itinerary

This trip starts from Taipei, the destination is Ruifang Station, and then goes to Shifen, embarking on a short trip full of beautiful scenery and culture.

First, we came to the Siguangtan Suspension Bridge. Standing on the bridge and overlooking the pool below, the clear water sparkles in the sun, making people want to get closer. The pool of water here is not static, but a flowing stream, which is the main source of water for Shifen Waterfall and also the upper reaches of Keelung River. The breeze on the bridge brought a hint of coolness, making this moment even more pleasant.

Next, we headed to Shifen Waterfall. This spectacular sight is amazing. The water pours down from a great height, making a pleasant sound, as if telling the story of nature. Surrounded by greenery, people feel infinite vitality and vigor. Standing next to the waterfall, the fresh mist hit my face, making me feel refreshed and making me feel that this journey is so worthwhile.

Finally, we came to Shifen Old Street, which is full of antique atmosphere. There are many small shops on both sides of the street, with a wide variety of handmade products and delicacies that are dazzling. What we are particularly looking forward to is the sky lantern release session. Watching the colorful sky lanterns slowly rise and fly into the sky, the wishes made in our hearts float away with the sky lanterns, as if the whole world is cheering for our wishes.

This day's trip not only allowed us to appreciate the natural beauty, but also allowed us to feel Taiwan's unique cultural charm. From Siguangtan to Shifen Waterfall and then to Shifen Old Street, this journey made me deeply appreciate the meaning of travel. I hope there will be more opportunities like this in the future to explore more beautiful places with my loved ones.
