Beitou’s Past, Preserved in Charm

During my Taiwan trip, I explored Beitou Hot Springs Museum, a place filled with character and stories. The exterior looked like an old Japanese inn, and the interior was filled with vintage touches—from tatami mats to wooden furniture and nostalgic photographs.

One thing I enjoyed most was the quiet atmosphere. The museum explained how hot springs were used during Japanese rule and how Beitou became a popular spot. I loved seeing the old spa tools and hearing the audio guides explaining the culture. It’s a peaceful stop for anyone who enjoys travel with meaning.
