✨Is Capella Taipei worth staying at? Here comes the top five-star experience test💫

Capella, designed by master designer André Fu, is surrounded by warm wood tones and modern art as soon as you step into the lobby. The furniture selection is so high-end that it feels like walking into an art gallery. It is so beautiful just for taking pictures! However, as a newly opened hotel, the room does have a noticeable decoration smell, so people who are sensitive to smells may need to pay attention.
The most surprising thing is the service details: the top five-star hotel does not have a doorman to welcome guests at the door, and the heavy door has to be pushed by yourself; you have to go through the dining area to get to the room, and you are watched by the diners the whole time, and the sense of privacy is almost zero 😅 Some employees are obviously inexperienced, and there is even a chaotic process when checking in, which is completely inconsistent with the room price.
However, the gym is definitely a highlight! It is open 24 hours a day, the equipment is top-notch and spacious, and even the yoga mat is the same as Lululemon. Sports lovers will fall in love with it~ The black truffle breakfast plate in the restaurant is also worth a try, with a rich aroma, but with a room rate of nearly NT$4,000 per night, the service and details really have room for improvement.
💡Conclusion: Design lovers can check in for André Fu's space, but if you are looking for attentive service or are budget-conscious, it is recommended to wait for half a year after the opening. Staying now is more like paying for the "new hotel design"~
