Taipei Shilin Renaissance Hotel Experience | A Weekend Escape in the Heart of the City

To complete the Marriott Platinum Challenge, I chose the Taipei Shilin Renaissance Hotel for this weekend getaway! The location is truly unbeatable—right next to Shilin Residence, making it super convenient to relax at the hotel after exploring the nearby attractions.

I stayed in a 31-square-meter Mountain View Room with a fantastic view 🌳. However, keep in mind that check-in is only available after 4 PM.

There are definitely some highlights! The in-room Mini Bar is free, and the room service menu offers a wide variety of affordable options, perfect for those of us who love convenience. For dinner, I enjoyed the buffet at the first-floor "Shilin Kitchen," which even features an outdoor BBQ area on weekends. Guests get a 25% discount, making it a great deal—left me stuffed and satisfied!

While the hotel excels in location and dining, I'm looking forward to the opening of the Voco Hotel in Shilin. Hopefully, it will raise the bar for the overall stay experience! All in all, this hotel is ideal for those looking for a quiet getaway while saving money on great food.
