Reading ancient books to get a glimpse into the secrets of the body - The Palace Museum's [Body Performance] Medical Books Special Exhibition

At the National Palace Museum in Taipei, a special exhibition "Body Performance" is quietly on display, focusing on the ancient Chinese understanding and record of the human body. From the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine to the illustrated medical books of the Ming and Qing dynasties, this is not just a book on medical treatment, but also an exploration of body knowledge, culture and aesthetics.
