But this time when I came to Dihua Street, I was completely amazed by the Modern Mode Cafe opened by artist Zhong Yao. The space is low-key and hidden in the alley, but when you walk in, it feels like walking into a small selection store on the streets of Paris. Several retro European sofas, wooden dining tables, and industrial iron chairs are placed just right, warm and unique.

This is not just a cafe, but also a selection store. All furniture is old pieces collected by the boss himself from all over the world. The front half of the space is converted into an ornament display area with old tables. It is full of antique necklaces, earrings, ornaments and European-style utensils. You can buy them and take them home. You can own what you like. It is not just a look but a part of life.
