Taipei Accommodation: Grand Hyatt Taipei Suite Unboxing

Grand Hyatt Taipei is Taiwan's first international five-star luxury hotel. I joined the Gourmet Plus program this year and it seems I've stayed there several times, but I haven't kept track of it. 😓

I got a rare upgrade to a suite, so I'm sharing it here.

We paid $83XX cash. Luckily, we arrived just before 11:00 AM and went to chat. Xiao said she'd never gotten a suite before, so they were incredibly helpful in finding us a standard one. 🙏

This time, they were celebrating the Grand Hyatt's 35th anniversary with a special stay. Stays are worth double points, and those who check in before September 30th will receive a free anniversary cake!

This suite, covering 18 pings (approximately 18 pings), features a luxurious king bed, a living room/guest room, a desk, a private bedroom, a marble bathroom with a separate bathtub, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, and exclusive Grand Club privileges.

The room space has always been quite good, and the addition of a living room was fantastic.

It was especially nice to have 35 friends over to chat the next day.

The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were just too soft and uncomfortable! The bathrobes were also big, thick, and worn 😅

From the always-bustling lobby to the incredibly crowded Grand Club HH, even the gym was the most heavily used hotel I've ever stayed in 😆

The food at Grand Club seems to have been significantly improved, and it's much better overall!
