#Grand Hyatt Taipei #Cai Japanese Cuisine
This second nine-square grid shows me trying all eight restaurants again! 😂
Take this opportunity to savor the rich Japanese flavors of Cai Lai again! 🥰
Cai is a Japanese-themed buffet restaurant. Each month they have a theme, and August is a Japanese paradise for meat lovers! 🥳
𝟖/𝟐𝟖 recreates a classic Japanese feast with 𝟖𝟎 courses.
═══ Chef Xiao Wei. Recommended must-try ═══
🍖 𝟒𝑪𝑴 Thick-cut pork cutlet, surprisingly tender, highly recommended🥳
🍖 Grilled beef nigiri, topped with the chef's special foie gras mousse and truffle sauce, blended with Japanese mayonnaise for a rich, fragrant bite. Highly recommended❤️
🍖 Nagoya-style butan and gyudon (domestic beef)
🍜 Izakaya BBQ: Red wine pork shank, grilled chicken cartilage skewers, squid sausage, and mentaiko chicken wings
🍜 Japanese-style main dishes: Hakata tonkotsu ramen, chicken oyakodon, and steamed beef rice bowl
August 1-28 On Friday nights and all day Saturday and Sunday, we also offer flounder fin nigiri, beef tongue, teriyaki lamb chops, and grilled short ribs. 🤩
Oysters often cause gastrointestinal issues, so we're not considering adding them for now.
Our main course is limited, so we'll just try the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen, which is my favorite flavor at Cai! 💞
The cuttlefish sausage and mentaiko chicken wings are both delicious!
The dining area features a fresh food section, stir-fries, grills, steamers, Japanese side dishes, and specialty ramen. While all Japanese cuisine features a lot of ingenuity and creativity from the chefs. 👍
Desserts are also primarily Japanese. The must-try Imagawa Oyaki has both red bean and cream flavors, as well as a limited-time hazelnut cocoa custard. All three are delicious!
The red bean soup and mochi ice cream in the freezer are also highly recommended!
The quality of the fresh produce is excellent, and they even offer hand rolls with custom toppings.
There's a lot of delicious hot dishes too 😆
The pan-fried loofah with scallop sauce, tonkatsu (pork tama), Australian beef teppanyaki, and red miso tonkatsu (pork tartare noodles) are all fantastic!
Thank you to Chef Xiaowei for preparing such a wonderful meal 🙏
