Taipei City Hall Station: A Korean son-in-law inherits his mother-in-law's craftsmanship and opens a seaweed rice roll shop.

Queen Rice Rolls is located in an alley near Songshan High School, very close to the underground parking lot. If you take the MRT, exit 1 of City Hall Station for a closer look. Queen Rice Rolls is located in a small alley, but you can spot the large rice rolls logo from a distance, so it's not difficult to find.

In addition to rice rolls, the owner also sells pineapple cakes, which are exported internationally. The interior is bright and spacious. The rice roll shops I've been to before are all small and cramped. While Queen Rice Rolls doesn't have much space, the atmosphere is quite comfortable. The owner said he's moving next January because the landlord is raising the rent. He'll update the location then.

The rice rolls are very reasonably priced. The large ones are just over 100 yuan, while the beef ones are 150 yuan. A small rice roll from Seoul Ouba Snacks, which I had a few days ago, was 150 yuan. They also sell spicy rice cakes, fried foods, and fish soup. The owner said his mother-in-law used to run a rice roll shop in Korea, even before the rice rolls were sold in Korea, so the flavors are more upscale. Besides Taiwanese ingredients, they also collaborate with Korean giant CJ, which is a customer of pineapple cakes. So cool! Some rice rolls contain perilla leaves, which the owner grows himself.
