The first phase of the Railway Museum's opening, starting July 31st, includes six historic areas: the Diesel-Electric Workshop, the Main Office, the Technician Training Institute, the Materials Testing Laboratory, the Grand Hall, and the Bathhouse. Currently, only the Diesel-Electric Workshop requires a ticket; the remaining exhibition areas are free, making it a great place for children to take a stroll. During the holidays, there's also a Blue Train ride for NT$150 per session. Because it's a holiday-only experience, there are limited daily runs. It's recommended to queue up in advance or make reservations online.
