Explore the Hidden Gem of Taipei: The Artistic Vibe of Treasure Hill Artist Village

In most bustling tourist cities, public holidays usually mean larger crowds. However, in Taipei, public holidays often result in fewer people, making it a more comfortable time to explore. One such serene spot is Treasure Hill, where the number of visitors is relatively low, allowing you to take photos freely without interruptions.
Treasure Hill exudes the charm of "old Taipei," which is a major draw for visitors. With its red brick walls, ancient trees, and concrete structures, it feels like stepping back into the old military dependents' villages of 30 to 40 years ago. The area is still home to some residents, while vacant houses have been transformed into art spaces for artists. As you stroll through, you'll encounter delightful graffiti and artistic touches at every turn. If this were abroad, it would undoubtedly be a must-visit destination for me.
Take your time to explore Treasure Hill; a leisurely visit typically takes about two hours. However, since it's a bit far from the nearest MRT station, it's more convenient to get here by scooter or Ubike. Enjoy your visit!
