Maokong Gondola

The Maokong Gondola ride from the bottom of the mountain takes about 20-30 minutes. You can choose to ride the Crystal Cabin, which offers a panoramic view of Taipei City, Zhinan Temple, and the tea plantations. The entire ride offers breathtaking views of the natural beauty.

The gondola goes up and down, which is very exciting. It's very high, and the gondola is quite stable, with no swaying or rocking. The ride takes only a short while.

There are four stations in total: Taipei Zoo Station, Taipei Zoo South Station, Zhinan Temple Station, and Maokong Station.

You can mark whichever station you want to get off at. We didn't stop, but headed straight to Maokong Station. There are shops, restaurants, and a beautiful observation deck at the top. The air is fresh and refreshing.

If you're visiting Taipei, I highly recommend taking the ride and enjoying the view. It's excellent. Or if you're bringing kids to the zoo, it's a great option.
