Taipei｜Ring the prayer bell at Mao Cable Car Zhinan Temple Station

I originally thought that the Zhinan Palace Station of the Maokong Gondola was just an intermediate station, but I didn't expect that there are not only shops and toilets here, but also multiple trails connected. There are also attractions such as the Marriage Pavilion, Perfection Pavilion, Deer Horn Pavilion, Flower Viewing Pavilion, and Happiness Pavilion along the way, each of which is unique.

There are also 12 stone statues of the Chinese zodiac hidden in the woods along the trail. It is not easy to find them all, like a fun treasure hunt game. On the way to the Happiness Pavilion, you can also see the stone statue of Yuexia Laoren, which symbolizes a good marriage, and even a specially designed stone chair with divination cups, adding a touch of romance and fun. When you arrive at the Happiness Pavilion, you can pick up the hammer of the blessing bell and ring it. The clear and distant bell sounds echo among the mountains and forests, which is particularly ceremonial.

After walking the trail, you can take the Maokong Gondola to the next stop. I didn’t expect that it had stopped running today. I unexpectedly saw the scene of the construction cable car running. I couldn’t help but imagine how exciting it would be to sit on it! This Zhinan Palace Trail trip is not only easy to walk, but also full of interesting little surprises.
