Fushan Fishery Resources Conservation Area (also known as Fushan Fishery Conservation Area/Sugihara Beach) — This unique coastal attraction on the east coast combines sandy beaches, coral reef intertidal zones, and a sea trail.

• Location: Shanyuan, Beinan Township, Taitung County, approximately No. 20 Shanyuan
• Opening Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Admission: Approximately NT$50 per person for adults; discounted and child tickets approximately NT$20 (free for children under 3 years old)
• Zoning: Divided into a sandy beach in the south and a coral reef intertidal zone in the north
• Historical Background: Formerly known as Shanyuan Beach, it was declared a no-fishing zone in 2005 due to overfishing and ecological damage. It has since been gradually transformed into a conservation area, allowing for marine ecological restoration.

• Transportation: Drive along the Hualien-Taitung Coast Highway and navigate to the Sughara/Fushan Fishing Conservation Area. Parking is usually done along the white-lined roadside area.
• Tidal Information: It's recommended to check the tide times when visiting the intertidal zone. The period around low tide is a good time to observe marine life.
• Safety and Precautions: Wear non-slip shoes or sandals for safety. Avoid walking barefoot on coral or reefs. Respect the environment by not damaging reefs or disturbing marine life.
