🎨🌊 Harmony of Art & Nature at the Paul Chiang Art Center (江賢二藝術園區) 🏞️✨

#hellohalloween

Nestled on the dramatic east coast of Taiwan in Jinzun, Donghe Township, Taitung County, the Paul Chiang Art Center is a striking blend of artistic vision and architectural ambition. The museum opens March 15, 2025, and is the physical embodiment of renowned painter Paul Chiang’s creative journey — set against the backdrop of mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

Inside, the gallery spaces are intimate yet bold, showcasing Chiang’s abstract paintings and sculptures alongside their built-environment counterpart. The architecture—designed by architect Yu Han Michael Lin—features raw concrete and weathering corten steel, integrated into the natural slope of the site. Visitors move through the “Reception Centre”, “Gallery 1 & 2”, and “Dreamers Pavilion” — each space crafted to evoke reflection, freedom of mind, and the harmony of art and nature.

The Paul Chiang Art Center is more than a museum—it’s a contemplative experience. Whether you’re wandering the gallery halls, pausing by the “Serenity Pond” to gaze at sea and sky, or simply absorbing the quiet integration of architecture and landscape, this art centre invites visitors to slow down, reflect, and engage with the creative spirit in one of Taiwan’s most beautiful settings.
