Relaxing Retreat at Tianlai Hot Spring Resort

#chinatravel Spent one night at Tianlai Hot Spring Resort up in Yangmingshan and honestly, it was such a vibe. The second you get up into the mountains, everything just feels calmer. The resort is tucked into this lush green area and has this laid-back, peaceful energy that hits you right away.

The room was spacious and clean with a private hot spring tub, which was definitely the highlight. Soaking in that warm water while staring out at the mountains? Unreal. It’s the kind of place where you just want to put your phone down and chill out for real.

The resort also has larger public hot spring pools, plus a pretty decent breakfast buffet with both local and western stuff. Staff were friendly and helped us out with transportation tips since getting up there without a car is a bit tricky.

If you’re looking to fully unwind and escape city noise, this place nails it.
