October Reality: Taiyuan Longshan is fully ablaze with autumn colors, a top spot for leaf-peeping! It's all red!

No filter needed, it's still a riot of colors.

Speaking of Longshan, as the largest and most concentrated red leaf viewing area in Taiyuan's western mountain region, it truly lives up to its reputation.
This time, let's not take the touristy roads jammed with traffic and crowds; instead, we'll hike directly from the foot of the mountain. It's just a half-hour walk to the top.
Autumn viewing spots:
After climbing behind the Longbai, look east towards the direction of the grottoes, or turn west to see the snack bar. Next to it, there's a small path leading to the Banyun Pavilion. You must visit this place for a 360° unbeatable panoramic view that's especially beautiful!
During the red leaf season, there are many cars and people, and the parking lot is also small. The quickest way is to head to the ticket office where it's not congested.
Taiyuan's one-card system is free, and there are places on the mountain to get hot water, so you can bring a water cup.
