The Historical Charm of Taiyuan Ancient County

A while ago, I explored Taiyuan Ancient County, an early Ming Dynasty town rich in history. Known as the residence of Emperor Liu Heng and where Tang Emperor Li Yuan raised an army, it offers a fascinating glimpse into the past.

I visited the Jinyang Ancient City Archaeological Museum, which was closed on Mondays but showcased various historical aspects of Jinyang Ancient City. The Manjianghong Film Studio, with its dark and dramatic sets, was perfect for photography. Climbing the Kuixing Tower, with its copper bells and ancient charm, was a highlight.

The free entry made it easy to explore, and the option of a sightseeing car or horse-drawn carriage added convenience. The historical and cinematic charm of Taiyuan Ancient County left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend a visit to experience its unique allure.
