Sharing my 2 nights and 3 days Miyazaki itinerary 🇯🇵

📆DAY 1📆

Arrival at Miyazaki & Coastal Drive

✈️ Pick up a rental car after arriving at Miyazaki Airport (public transportation is a bit inconvenient, so a car is more convenient!)
🏖️ Stop by Aoshima Beach, which is close to the airport – the ocean is beautiful and the walking path is nice
⛩️ The nearby Aoshima Shrine has a red torii that is a great photo spot
🍜 For lunch, we recommend the local Miyazaki specialty Chicken Nanban or clear broth ramen! 🚗 In the afternoon, drive along the coastal road to Horikawa Strait or Udo Shrine
🌊 Udo Shrine on top of a rock cliff is really pretty and mysterious
🏨 Check in to your accommodation in Miyazaki City or a hot spring ryokan
🛀 End the day by relaxing in the hot spring in the evening

📆DAY 2📆

Healing in nature & viewpoints

☀️ In the morning, take a leisurely walk around your accommodation and start with breakfast
🌿 In the morning, you can go on a day trip to Ebino Plateau or Takachiho Gorge (if you like nature, this is a must-visit!)
🚣♀️ In Takachiho Gorge, you can ride a boat and pass between the steep cliffs, which is so beautiful
🧺 Try a local bento or vegetable curry at a nearby rest area
🍖 In the evening, have a hearty meal at a Miyazaki Kuroge Wagyu (gyusukiyaki) or chicken restaurant!

📆DAY 3📆

A light finish & return home

🛍️ On the last day, go shopping or visit a cafe in the city
- I like buying souvenirs at the Miyazaki Craft Center or the local market
🍞 Popular things to do are citrus-flavored snacks, chicken jerky, and mango products
☕ Before going to the airport, have a leisurely cup of coffee at a nearby cafe and finish
✈️ Go to Miyazaki Airport and return home
