🎏Takatsuki, Osaka｜Carp streamers flying all over the sky, just like a fairy tale world～

Takatsuki is a small town between Osaka and Kyoto.
The most famous is the carp streamer on the Boys' Day in early May.
It is also a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in spring.

I finally got here in early May this year.
Various carp streamers are hung on both sides of the Akutagawa River in the park.
Flying in the wind, forming a magnificent landscape~

Men's Day
It is an important traditional festival in Japan specially established to bless the healthy growth of boys.
Every household will hang a flag symbolizing carp.
These carp streamers are made of fabrics of different sizes and colors.
Each one represents different blessings and meanings.

From late April to early May every year
It's really worth a visit if you have the chance~
