Hida Folk Village (Hida no Sato)

Hida Folk Village is situated on a 99,000-square-meter hillside and is filled with over 30 traditional buildings, including gassho-zukuri houses. [Gassho-zukuri] If you're short on time and can't make it to Shirakawago, this is the place to go.

You can use the Hida Folk Village Pass for 1,000 yen (entrance fee 700 yen + round-trip bus fare 420 yen).

From JR Takayama Station, walk to the Takayama Nohi Bus Center bus station, which is located next door. Take the bus from stop number 1 for approximately 11 minutes (210 yen per trip).

If driving, parking is available for 300 yen.
