Hat Nang Thong – Unseen Phang Nga, black sand beach near Khao Lak

Today, we were driving from Phuket towards Khao Lak. Along the way, we caught sight of a sign for "Nang Thong Beach," so we turned in to explore. It turned out to be a truly unseen sight.

The highlight here is the black sand. They say it's derived from the local tin ore, giving it a distinct color that's unlike most beaches. However, it was raining and the tide was high on the day we visited, so we didn't see much black sand. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was peaceful, quiet, and incredibly beautiful.

If you're passing through Khao Lak, don't forget to stop by and take some beautiful photos. Especially at low tide, the black sand is more visible. It's another photo spot worth exploring in Phang Nga Province.
