Taoyuan Shimen Reservoir Small Outing

It is said that Taoyuan is one of the most boring counties in Taiwan. Come to think of it, it doesn’t seem to be the case. At least there are a lot more things to see compared to Hsinchu 😂 This day we drove to Shimen Reservoir, which is near the border between Taoyuan City and Hsinchu County. It is an artificial reservoir that supplies fresh water to New Taipei City, Taoyuan, and Hsinchu. When we visited last June, the reservoir storage level was not low, so we could see the beautiful lake scenery with light frosty color and transparent water. If you have time, you can also walk around the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery by the lake!
